Our Team

Meet our team of researchers dedicated to the SADC Regroupement. Each member brings unique expertise to our projects, contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in various healthcare sectors.

Philippe Jouvet

Dr Jouvet is a pediatric intensivist and full professor in the Department of Pediatrics at CHU Sainte Justine. He is a clinician-researcher on FRQS scholarship, co-holder of a chair in artificial intelligence. He has published more than 230 articles recognized by peer committees and given more than 150 conferences at national and international conferences.

Guillaume Émeriaud

Dr Guillaume Emeriaud MD PhD is a pediatric intensivist and senior clinical researcher at CHU Sainte Justine. He is also director of the “Infectious Diseases and Acute Care” axis of the Sainte-Justine Research Center. His primary research program aims to improve patient-ventilator interactions in pediatric critical care.

Rita Noumeir

Rita Noumeir is a full professor at the Ecole de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) and a researcher at the CHU Ste Justine research center. She is co-holder of the double research chair (with Dr Philippe Jouvet) in artificial intelligence in health/digital health and life sciences from the FRQS Research Fund.

Michael Sauthier

Dr. Sauthier has been a pediatric intensivist since 2018 and is an assistant clinical professor in the department of pediatrics at CHU Sainte-Justine. His research theme is the development and validation of real-time decision support computer systems for pediatric hypoxemia. He has published more than 20 scientific articles.
